Bolle Adult Swim School - Frequenly Asked Questions - FAQ
Bolle Adult Swim School
Frequently Asked Questions
I looked into some other swim school offers on the web and found that some of them
charge double the amount you are asking. I am tempted to book with them, believing
that you normally get what you pay for. Can you elaborate and explain your price vs.
theirs?

A:  Some Competitors fly Instructors to numerous Hotels, where often the Swim Lessons are
given in 82 Degree Outdoor Pools amid Hotel Guests, Children and Spectators.  It is expensive
to fly Instructors to various Locations and pay for their Car Rentals, Lodging, Meals, and Airline
Tickets.  When a Business' Overhead is higher, often it has to pass Expenses on to you,
increasing your Cost for Lessons.

We want our Services in Phoenix to be affordable, and as long as we guarantee your Success,
independent of the
lower Price we charge, you should not doubt our Ability and our
Determination to see you succeed,
as 30,000 Adults before you already did!  We hope our
Success Guarantee, Class Offerings and our
Location are appealing enough for you to enroll in
one of our
Classes .

Q:  Other swim schools recommend wearing a neoprene vest during lessons. Is there
a reason for that besides staying warmer?

A:  To succeed with Adult Swim Students, 92 Degree water temperature is an absolute necessity
and nobody should accept less.  Other Swim Schools often give Lessons in outdoor hotel pools,
where 92 Degrees is not considered acceptable for hotel guests.  Therefore the water
temperature seldom exceeds 82 Degrees, which makes wearing a neoprene vest necessary for
swim students, who spend much more pool time than hotel pool guests.  We only offer
indoor
swim classes in Phoenix, in a
Lion's Foundation Facility dedicated to swim students only.
Guests, children or spectators are not present, and consequently do not negatively impact our
lessons.  We don't use neoprene vests to stay warm. The water temperature is
always 92
degrees, and by teaching in an Indoor pool there is no need for protective clothing to prevent
sunburns! To complicate Matters, neoprene vests create additional artificial buoyancy so the
students are not learning under the same conditions they will actually experience at a later time.
This is no way to learn.

Q:  According to my doctor, I am 120 lbs. heavier than I should be. He is recommending
more physical activity in order to lose weight, specifically swimming, which I never
learned. (Running is out of the question). Will it be more difficult for me to learn to
swim given the fact that I am overweight?

A:  Absolutely not!  Carrying extra weight actually increases buoyancy and will make it easier for
you to get into a floating position when compared to anyone with considerably less weight!
Don't worry, we will teach you what you need to know/do to deal with your increased buoyancy.
BTW, you will be the envy of other students in your swim class who don't float as easily.

Q:  As a child, I nearly drowned  and consequently I am panicky as soon as water
reaches up to my chest. I can't breath, I start trembling and I just want to get out of the
water.
How can you be so sure that I will learn to swim with you, knowing how deepply
I am affected by water?

A:  I know that you will learn to swim.  You are in experienced hands and we have dealt with so
many fearful adults like you with very similar or identical experiences/difficulties.  They all
overcame their often life-long fear of water and learned to swim!  We incorporate water
familiarity exercises in our adult swim classes to help students become comfortable, confident
and at peace with water.  Looking back, after your 6 day class, you won't even understand why it
was such a huge problem in the past.  Please trust us, we know we can help you!
